Cocoa - House Rabbit
Cocoa is a male neutered house rabbit. He was rescued from Animal Care and Control in January. We do not know much about his history, but he appears to be young (less than 1 year) and is extremely friendly. He loves to run around the reception area soliciting attention, even if it means circling between our feet! He enjoys playing with toys and having a nice snooze in a warm lap.
Cocoa has found a new mom!

Paprika: - Bearded Dragon
Paprika is a female bearded dragon of unknown age. She was abandoned in Long Island when her owners could not afford the life-saving treatment she needed. After a month here at the Center Paprika has completely healed and is thriving. She is ready for a new home.
Lucy: cockatiel
Lucy. We believe that Lucy is a female cockatiel, approximately 1-3 years old. She was abandoned at a pet store and found her way to us in late February. Lucy is a beautiful bird who is extremely nervous. She has clearly never been handled before, and may do best either with another bird or in a home with somebody who is experienced with untamed birds. She has a beautiful whistle!
Reese: guinea pig
Reese is a male neutered guinea pig who is approximately 6 months old. He was rescued from a shelter in Brooklyn and has been in our care since January. He is a very social pig who will come right over to get a head or chin rub. He loves to run and hop all around his enclosure until he gets so exhausted that he collapses into his snuggling cup! He loves fresh veggies and will WHEEK until he gets what he wants! I've been adopted, thanks!
Tribeca
Tribeca was found in… Tribeca! We believe she is a girl, although she is young and it is difficult to be sure. She was extremely thin and weak, had no tail, and a painful wound on her beak. She is on the road to recovery, but still very shaken from being on the streets of Manhattan! Even though she has been through a rough ordeal, she has not bitten anybody, and is gaining energy every day. I've been adopted, thanks!
