The Center for Avian and Exotic Medicine requires that all pets boarding at our hospital be current on health examinations, as well as certain tests. Our goal is to ensure, to the best of our ability, that your pet is not exposed to contagious diseases while boarding with us. This policy has been designed with the safety of your pet in mind.
The Center is fully equipped with spacious cages, a wide variety of perches, fresh food, seed mixes and Nutraberries/Avicakes, and we carry Wysong ferret food, Oxbow small mammal food, Harrison’s Bird Diet, and Zupreem Fruit Blend for birds. Below is a list of boarding requirements that your pet needs in order to stay with us. Any one-time tests must be completed prior to boarding. The yearly requirements can be done prior to or at the same time as boarding.

* Medical history is based on exposure to other animals and environmental risks and may indicate that a pet will require more frequent fecal tests.
